Cobb Systems Group Wins Montgomery County Innovation Network Company of the Year

CSG is recognized by Montgomery County, Maryland, for developing ProForm™, a patented talent-matching and analytics platform.

Jun. 10, 2014

ROCKVILLE, Md., Jun. 10, 2014 — On May 9, 2014, CSG received the Montgomery County Innovation Network Company of the Year Award at the second annual small business awards luncheon at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. Hosted by The Montgomery County Department of Economic Development (MCDEP), some of the attendees included MCDEP Director Steve Silverman, Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett, President of the Montgomery County Council Craig Rice, and U.S. Small Business Administration District Director Antonio Doss.

“CSG is thrilled to be recognized with this award,” said Wayne Cobb, President and CEO, “and we specifically want to thank Montgomery County, its elected officials, and public workers; Rockville Economic Development, Inc. (REDI); and the Business Innovation Network; along with our business partners, many of whom are early adopters of our talent paradigm.”

CSG received this award in part because of its patented talent-matching and analytics platform, ProForm™. ProForm™ allows employers to create interactive experiences to capture how their best performing workers solve problems and then use those problem-solving patterns to find job candidates who think in similar ways. Using ProForm™, employers consider all candidates capable of doing a job, not just those candidates who happen to incorporate the “right” keywords into their resumes. CSG also uses ProForm™ to create more in-depth, interactive resumes in which Actions Speak Louder Than Keywords™.
